The HX22CAB is a compact and highly efficient contactor designed for switching high voltage DC systems, such as those exceeding 1000Vdc. It is UL508 recognized and load break rated specifically for 1000Vdc applications. Engineered to meet UL1604 standards for hazardous locations, it is suitable for use in Class I, II, Div2, and Class III environments. The contactor features a patented EPIC® Hermetic Seal, surpassing IP67-69 specifications and ensuring no exposed arcing to open air environments. This makes it an ideal choice for solar, photovoltaic, inverter systems, battery packs, combiner boxes, DC arc fault interrupter systems, or any other high voltage DC system. Its high-efficiency dual DC coils provide very low 12, 24, or 48Vdc continuous power with no EMI emissions or cross-talk, making it perfect for battery-powered systems or applications where low coil power consumption is essential.
