R2 Series High Voltage Relay 

The R2 series high voltage relay is specifically designed for applications that require carrying high current under high voltage. Users commonly prefer it for systems up to 15kV. The design optimizes performance for low-loss operation in RF circuits, delivering high efficiency and reliability.

The relay uses contacts made of molybdenum and copper. This combination offers low and stable contact resistance. As a result, the R2 series can continuously carry up to 50 amps of current — the highest current rating among relay models with the same size and form factor. 

It features a Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) configuration, which includes both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) contacts. This structure easily adapts to different control requirements. When coil power is applied or removed, continuity switches between contacts to maintain operation.
