The QY13 is a circuit breaker built to be a DC product. Operating a DC voltage safely is different from operating an AC voltage. This is why the QY series is a dedicated DC circuit breaker with the correct marking and DC approvals. It also has the following unique features compared to conventional thermal magnetic circuit breakers:
The QY13 maintains rated current regardless of ambient temperature. If you have a problem with high ambient temperatures in your equipment, it always maintains the rated current. So there is no need to downgrade. Like all our Hydraulic-Magnetic circuit breakers, it is designed and certified to load at 100% of rated current continuously.
Manufactured in a modular width of 13 mm instead of 18 mm like a conventional MCB. This means >30% more distribution points in the same space.
