R64B Series High Voltage Relay 

The R64B series high voltage relay is specifically designed for make-only operations. Many use it in systems with capacitive discharge, particularly in electrostatic discharge (ESD) and lightning surge protection applications.

The R64B relay features an SPST-NC (Single Pole Single Throw – Normally Closed) configuration. The relay keeps the circuit closed while the coil remains unpowered. When the coil receives power, it opens the contacts to ensure isolation. It can continuously carry up to 10 amps of current, making it a safe choice for high-voltage systems up to 50kV. 

Thanks to its inert gas-filled internal structure, it offers superior insulation. This also suppresses arc formation, enabling safe switching. The design ensures high performance in applications where fast and precise switching is critical.
