Draw-wire displacement sensors with analog output are sensors that measure linear displacement or distance and generate an analog output signal. The analog output can be in the form of voltage or current and is proportional to the displacement or distance traveled by the object being measured.

These sensors consist of a wire or cable that is attached to the object being measured and wound around a spool. As the object moves, the wire is pulled or released from the spool, which rotates a rotary encoder or potentiometer, generating an analog output proportional to the displacement of the object. The analog output can be fed to a controller or a display device to provide feedback on the position of the object being measured.

Draw-wire displacement sensors with analog output are commonly used in industrial automation, robotics, and position control systems where a high level of accuracy is required. They are preferred in situations where the linear travel distance is relatively long and precise positioning is critical.
