R81A Series High Voltage Relay
The R81A series high voltage relay is designed to handle demanding load conditions and offers various compact form factor options. Moreover, with its high-dielectric encapsulation material, it ensures excellent external insulation.
Additionally, thanks to its RF-compliant design, it delivers high performance in applications requiring precise switching and reliable isolation. The R81A series operates safely in systems up to 7kV. Furthermore, its tungsten contacts enable high-performance make/break switching, and it can continuously carry up to 10A of current.
Commonly used in antenna tuning units (ATUs) and high-voltage test equipment, the relay features an SPST-NO (Single Pole Single Throw – Normally Open) configuration. Specifically, the circuit remains open until coil power is applied, upon which the contacts close. Therefore, this simple structure provides an effective solution for isolation and safe control.
