R25 Series High Voltage Relay
The R25 series high voltage relay is designed as an enhanced version of the R8 series. To achieve this, the manufacturer has added special arc chamber baffles and reduced the size of the moving contactor. As a result, this improvement allows the relay to provide better isolation.
In terms of performance, it can operate safely in systems up to 25kV. Additionally, the R25 series relay solutions can continuously carry currents up to 18A. Just like the R8 series, the R25 uses molybdenum/tungsten contacts. This means that the contact material ensures high-performance make/break operations and reliable load switching capabilities.
The SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) configuration combines both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) contact sets within a single body. When coil power is applied or removed, continuity is maintained by switching between these two contacts. This design offers flexibility and versatility during the system design process.
